Summer is just the best. School is out. The sun is shining (well that's not unusual for San Diego but you get it). Life is good. Since I took Harper to visit my parents in March I decided to visit with Riley in June. She traveled like a champ. We had just a few episodes of unhappiness but for the most part she was awesome. The part that sucked the worst was that my luggage didn't make my connection from Atlanta to VPS. WE almost didn't make it so it was no surprise when my bag didn't arrive, really. We had about 45 minutes to make it from Terminal B to Terminal E. But how annoying. But it eventually arrived at my parents house around 3am the next morning so it wasn't too bad. But then on the way back my luggage didn't make my connecting flight back to San Diego in Atlanta again! I couldn't believe it this time since my gates were right next to each other, literally (landed at C33 and departed at C34) and my bag DID NOT make the plane??? Seriously?? I could not believe it. So we had to hang out at the airport while my bag arrived on the next flight from Atlanta. Ugh...Delta...You suck!
I got to see from great Tiffany and Hector and do a bit of shopping which is always fun.

Riley even had fun at the mall! |
We also got to show Riley the beach which she absolutely LOVED!
She wasn't so thrilled with my parents pool. I can't even tell you how many months of swim lessons this girl has had and she is still not a swimmer. She was barely wanting to dip her feet in. Silly thing. But she was loving on some grandpa and grandma. Very happy to be hanging with them.

Riley's first snow cone! |
It wouldn't be a proper post without some pics of baby Harper. She is such a happy baby; just like Riley was at this age. So smiley! My lovies!!
Matt and I had a great date night out to a Padres game. Such fun sitting in great front row seats!
